Welcome to CodeHint.ai — your intelligent web development assistant. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the CodeHint.ai browser extension and related services (“Service”). By installing or using CodeHint.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Overview

CodeHint.ai is a browser extension that provides real-time guidance, troubleshooting, and code suggestions for websites. It is designed to assist users of platforms like WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, and custom-built sites. Users can select elements directly from live or staging websites and receive step-by-step fixes, no-code explanations, or copy-paste code solutions.

2. Account and Access

You may use the Service with or without creating an account. Some features require you to sign in using your Google account for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Pricing and Plans

CodeHint.ai offers four subscription tiers:

  • Up to 10 AI responses per month

  • 7-day free trial available

  • Designed for occasional website editors

🔹 Professional Plan – €8.99/month

  • Up to 20 AI responses per month

  • 7-day free trial available

  • Ideal for regular website editors

🔹 Unlimited Plan – €14.99/month

  • Unlimited AI responses

  • 7-day free trial available

  • Built for power users and professionals

⚠️ All plans may include usage limitations to prevent abuse. We reserve the right to adjust response caps, trial periods, or pricing at any time with prior notice. Yearly subscriptions may qualify for discounts.

4. Payments and Cancellation

Payments are handled securely via our integrated payment processors. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your plan).

You may cancel your subscription at any time by writing to subscriptions@codehint.ai. Upon cancellation, access to premium features will continue until the end of the current billing cycle.

We do not offer prorated refunds for partial use unless required by applicable law.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You may not:

  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or modify the extension

  • Use the Service to generate malicious, harmful, or unlawful code

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, code, branding, and materials related to CodeHint.ai are the intellectual property of SVSDEV and Kiitos Sarl and may not be copied, modified, or redistributed without prior written consent.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

CodeHint.ai is provided “as is” without any warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any suggestions or code snippets generated by the Service. You are responsible for reviewing and testing any code before deploying it to your site.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, data loss, downtime, or broken website functionality caused by implementation of suggested changes.

9. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via the extension or email. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ljubljana, Slovenia.
